Pastry chef Andrea Zemi of Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, began studying the world of desserts in Italy in 2003 and later, in 2008, moved to London where he worked for two years. Then in Madrid, he met his mentor, master pastry chef Ángel Fernández from “Bizcochería del Retiro”, proclaimed as one of the best pastry chefs in Spain in 1995. In Ibiza, he was in charge of the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza pastry shop for two years, and four years ago he began his career in the kitchens of the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel. Andrea and his team have developed an extensive menu of desserts inspired by the different flavours of the world for all the restaurants in the hotel. 

 

"Part of the blame for this pastry revolution lies with the guests themselves, who are increasingly demanding and know more about cooking" ,explains chef Andrea.
